Corzan® CPVC: Comparison Burst Test

A comparison burst test is conducted according to the ASTM D1599. Per ASTM 441, the minimum pressure required for 1 in. schedule 80 CPVC pipe to sustain before failure is 2020 psi. Unlike the alternative, Corzan® CPVC did not fail at 2900 psi during the test shown in this video, which is the burst unit's limit.
