Corzan® CPVC: Solvent Cement Welded Joint Burst Test

This test, conducted according to the ASTM D1599 requirement, shows how a Corzan® CPVC solvent cement welded joint performs under intense internal pressure. To meet the ASTM F441 requirement, a 1 in. schedule 80 CPVC pipe must withstand 2020 psi before failing.

This Corzan CPVC assembly did not fail at 2900 psi, the burst unit's limit.
